Asbestos Regulations

All residents of Arandis are hereby informed that there are impending legislative changes that will provide directives regarding the maintenance and or any activities on asbestos roofs.

Since most houses in Arandis are believed to have asbestos roofs all activities on and around roofing structures should be halted with immediate effect. For any queries in this regard please contact Colin Namene at the Council’s offices or alternatively telephonically on 064 – 512400 or 0811220981.

Alle inwoners van Arandis word hiermee ingelig van opkomende wetgewende verandering wat riglyne sal bevat in verband die instandhouding en enige alternatiewe aktiwiteite in of op asbes dakke en strukture.

Dit word algemeen aanvaar dat die meeste huise in Arandis asbes dakke het en in die opsig word dit van alle inwoners verwag om onmiddelik enige aktiwiteite in of op dak strukture te staak.
